The Honey Pot is an ongoing long term study of mine exclusively shot in Black and White. This is a project documenting industry. With a spotlight on the impact of the quarry and mining operations within Wales and England.
My motivations for developing this project mainly stem from the fact that these industries are rapidly disappearing (if they havent been left abandoned already) and in the near future maybe completely eradicated.
This project aims to not only document the operations themselves, but the landscapes and infrastructure that were often times built off the back of them.
The images that make up this project are from an abundance of locations all over England and Wales. With the first images taken in early 2024 spanning right the way through to the present day.
